A YDC is a group made up of around half a dozen young people of the same gender and similar age along with one or two of our leaders. The heart of YDC is discipleship. We are passionate about seeing youth rooted in the love of God, founded on His Word and becoming all that God has called them to be. In these groups the youth grow with their peers and also with their leader. These connections contribute to their decision to live a Christ-led life far beyond youth.

Schools: We partner with Nexus Care to provide volunteers to run breakfast programs in local schools. We currently cook breakfast in four local high schools – Everton Park State High School, Albany Creek State High School, Craigslea State High School and Mitchelton State High School. These programs ensure that children from disadvantaged families are given a nutritious start to the day which assists with better educational outcomes. Friday Nights: Friday nights at NexusONE contain crazy tribal warefare, powerful praise and worship led by a talented mix of youth kids and leaders, drawing kids towards God and teaching them to connect in deeper and stronger ways, an engaging and challeging message and plenty fun and laughs along the way! This wide range of experiences help our young people form great relationships with those around them and with their Heavenly Father.
