Designing Women is a One Day Boutique Conference held on Saturday 27^th October 2012, from 9.00am - 3.30pm. 

Expect amazing speakers, delicious food, music, dance, great creative moments, boutique shopping, espresso coffee and a special gift.This year is going to be amazing from start to finish. Our speakers are world class, the food is exquisite and the day is brimming with surprises. You’ll love the special gift we have for each of you. There’ll be music, dance, stunning creative moments, boutique shopping and espresso coffee.

We offer childminding, TLC for our over 70’s and an exciting program for our High School Girls.

Jane’s desire is that Connections is an opportunity for women of all ages to create new friendships, to find unconditional love and acceptance and a sense of belonging to our magnificent Nexus community.

We meet every Tuesday, 9am - 10:45am, during school term time, plus we have a fabulous Christ-centred children's program run by Jude Crank, our Young Families Pastor!

Women have a whole range of ways to be involved at Nexus!

If you are a young woman in highschool, Encounter Youth is a great way to make friends and grow in God!

If you are a young adult, we have Reverb (late teens to mid 20s) and Momentum (mid 20s to mid 30s) to empower you to change your world. There are also some great connect groups for young adults. You can choose a girls only group or a mixed group.

There are also some other great women's connect groups.

So don't sit back - get involved and meet some great girls!

Some of our Nexus women are walking regularly.

Enjoy a range of walk - some shorter, some around the city and some longer walks exploring further afield!

Maybe you’re not a walker but would like to become one? We always make sure we have a few ‘little’ walks on the calendar for you to try!

Once a month, a great group of women gather to discuss a book they've read, laugh, eat and enjoy each other's company.

We meet in a different home each month, on the second Thursday at 7.30pm.

Women in the Workplace - Connect Group
We meet to connect, encourage and support each other as we minister in our workplaces  - the meetings are informal - we eat, drink, share and discuss a topic. 

We meet fortnightly on Saturday for Breakfast and Friday Evening for Coffee in Bridgeman Downs

If you like to knit or want to learn, join us at Nexus Knitters!

Either bring your latest project along or bring a pair of 4mm needles and an 8 ply ball of yarn and learn how to knit!  

(If you want to learn how to make a mobius scarf, bring a 6mm or 7mm x 150cm cable needle and a ball of 8ply yarn)

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, from 7pm - 9pm in the Green Room off the Auditorium.

The Time Out Group (TOGS) is a chance to connect and develop relationships in a relaxed and refreshing way.

The group meets for fun outings to places such as the Art Gallery, Eumundi Markets, New Farm, with activities such as lunches and games nights.
