Nexus Church, previously known as Northside Christian Church, started in 1956, and moved to our present location in Everton Park with just 80 people in 1976.

Over the last few decades, Nexus has grown into a large church that has enjoyed not only helping those in need, but also providing a dynamic, thriving Christian community in the Northern suburbs of Brisbane.

On 15th November, 2009, the church changed it's name from Northside Christian Church to Nexus Church. Nexus, meaning 'a point of connection', better reflected our heart to connect people with God and each other.

One of the significant ministries of Nexus is Northside Christian College. The College offers excellent Prep - Grade 12 education for Christian families and has approximately 1300 students currently enrolled. Northside Christian College commenced in 1985 and celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2009.
