The Local Church Certificate IV in Ministry is a correspondence course run through Nexus Church which provides you with a great opportunity to equip yourself to live out his Kingdom purpose in your world.

Provided through Alphacrucis (formerly known as Southern Cross College) and accredited with the NSW Vocational Education and Training Board the Local Church Certificate IV in Ministry also provides a great platform for further study.

The course includes the following elements:

• Weekly 1 hr tutorial run at Nexus Church (Tuesday nights 6pm-7pm – if this is an issue please talk to course facilitator)
• Access to all resources online including tutorials from Alphacrucis.
• Field placement at Nexus Church
• 2-3 written assessment per subject (800 - 1500 words each)
• 3-6 hours commitment per subject each week (including tutorial & listening to the lecture).

• Old Testament
• New Testament
• Christian Worldview
• Christian Discipleship
• Christian Leadership
• Christian Evangelism
• Field Placement 1
• Field Placement 2

Cost:

• A one off $50 application fee (to be paid with the application form entry), $210 per subject (to be paid by the first tutorial) and up to 6 text books which range from $30-$70 each.

The Certificate IV in Ministry can be studied either full-time (3-4 subjects a semester) part- time (1-2 subjects a semester) and is Austudy approved. The subjects to be covered will be determined by Ps Josh based on what current students will need to complete.
